Why it matters
WTB (Want To Buy) signals an active buyer looking for a specific reference. NTQ (Need To Quote) means the buyer wants serious offers from sellers, not casual price discussion. In active trading communities, WTB posts get fast response from dealers with inventory matching the request.
A good WTB post lists the exact reference, condition required (Mint or better, full set, etc.), budget range, and timing. Vague WTB posts get fewer serious responses.
