Moda Clubs FAQ
Common questions about Moda Clubs.
Click the group link on our directory and request to join on Facebook. Open groups accept anyone. Private groups require an application or invitation. Premium groups (RWB, TMC, Gold+, MDA) have qualification requirements and require talking to a point of contact.
Apply at modacommunities.com/rwb. RWB has two paid tiers: Collector / Trader ($500 initiation + $1,000/year) and Dealer ($1,500 initiation + $1,000/year). You need to be a current Moda Watch Club member plus either one completed deal in the network or a positive reference from a current RWB member. Dealers also need a resale license on file. The Moda team reviews each application; most decisions land within a few days.
The flagship Moda Watch Club is for watches above $10,000. For watches in the $500 to $10,000 range, use Moda Watch Club: 10K & Under.
Most declined posts contain auto-filtered words. Use our Post Checker tool to scan your listing before posting. Common triggers include brand names that are not allowed in certain groups, slang, or restricted item categories.
Every official Moda group is listed on this site. Use the Group Verifier tab or on the home page to check any Facebook group or post link. All internal Moda team admins also have Meta Verified (blue checkmark) accounts.
TMC is the foundational premium tier of Moda Clubs ($499 lifetime or $150 a year). The team onboards you once and personally helps you into Moda's communities, skipping the public review queues and waitlists, usually the same business day. It also comes with priority seller status in several groups, anonymous posting in Lifestyle and Collective, four member chatrooms, and exclusive perks. Note that TMC does not include the separate premium memberships Real Watch Buyers, Moda Gold+, or Moda Dealer Alliance, which each have their own application and fee.
Use our Report page to submit a detailed report. Include the other party's Facebook profile, the original listing link, and a description of what happened. Our team reviews every submission.
Bans are issued for rule violations including scams, harassment, or repeated posting violations. To appeal, submit a report through our Report page with 'Ban Appeal' selected and explain your situation.
Brokered listing rules vary by group. In most watch groups, you must disclose that the item is brokered. Check the specific group rules or ask before posting.
Go to the Verify page and paste the link. If it is a share link from Facebook, we will resolve it automatically. If you only have a screenshot and no link, ask the sender for the direct link to the post or group before doing business.
Wire transfer and Zelle are the most common for watch deals. PayPal Goods & Services offers buyer protection but most sellers do not accept it due to fees and chargebacks. For high value transactions, we recommend using the Moda Middleman Service for added protection. Never send crypto or gift cards as payment.
Our middleman service is a watch inspection and verification service run through Moda HQ in Sioux Falls, SD. The seller ships the watch to us, our team inspects it same day, produces a professional condition report with timegraph data, and ships it fully insured to the buyer via ShipIFS. Graham Moda personally verifies every inspection. The fee is 1% of the deal value with a $400 minimum. Contact Graham Moda through the Team page to start a middleman deal.
Yes. Use the Contact page and select "Other" as the category. We read every submission and are always looking for ways to improve the community. Some of our best ideas have come from members.
Some groups only take items in a certain price range, so posting in the wrong one gets auto-declined. For watches, the flagship Moda Watch Club is for watches above $10,000, and Moda Watch Club: 10K & Under is for watches from $500 to $10,000. For cars, Wholesale Car Club is for vehicles $25,000 and up, and Wholesale Car Club: Forum is for vehicles under $25,000. Moda Misc Club has a $50 minimum. If you are not sure where something belongs, ask the team or check it with our chat assistant.
Two common reasons. First, if your Facebook account is under two years old, most groups auto-decline it, and the way around that is a Moda Club membership, where the team adds you manually. Second, after you text for a code you have to complete the link the text sends back, or the team never sees your request. To join, text the word moda plus the group name to (605) 349-1940, then fill out that link to get your code. Old codes still work, so a code from a previous year is still good.
Yes. Jacksonville Bedding is Moda's official mattress vendor, a family-owned Jacksonville store in business since 2008 with certified sleep science coaches and showrooms in Mandarin and Fleming Island. Moda members mention Moda and ask for the lowest available pricing. The main step is the Mattress Match Quiz, and the owner takes calls or texts directly. See the Jacksonville Bedding page for the details.
