The story
The reference 441.NM.1170.RX is a 42mm Big Bang Unico built on Hublot's second-generation Unico movement, Calibre HUB1280, which Hublot introduced at Baselworld 2018 to fit the chronograph into a smaller case than the original Big Bang Unico offered. This reference pairs a titanium case with a black ceramic bezel, the combination Hublot markets as its Titanium Ceramic Big Bang Unico. It is worth noting that the case material on this and most other current Big Bang Unico references marketed with a silver finish is titanium rather than stainless steel; Hublot reserves genuine stainless steel cases, using the SX material code, mainly for select limited or collaboration editions.
