Vadim, the founder of Moda, is starting with 15k in preowned watches and running it up to 100k in public. Day 1 is Saturday, October 3, and every watch he buys and sells along the way goes on the 15 to 100 page, so anyone can follow the run one deal at a time.
He starts with six watches, photographed at the Moda office: two Omegas (a Speedmaster Professional and a Seamaster Diver 300M), three Tudors (a Pelagos FXD Chrono, a Black Bay Bronze and a Black Bay Chrono) and a Bremont Project Possible. All six are listed now, and each one's status changes when it sells or gets traded.
If you want one, text Ryan at 605-376-3030. He handles buyers and shipping for the challenge, and nothing is yours until he confirms it by text, so don't send money before then. Payment goes one way only, through Kettle to Vadim's account @vadimmoda, and if anyone gives you different payment details, it isn't him.
Vadim is buying for the run too, so you can send him your watch for cash or trade it toward one of his through the sell or trade form. Ryan looks over every one, and a seller who is a fit gets a prepaid, insured ShipIFS label so the watch travels covered, then gets paid through Kettle.
Everyone on the sign-up list hears about new watches first, before they show up anywhere else. When the challenge ends, the list also gets the numbers Vadim is keeping private until then, down to what he paid for every watch and what each one sold for.
